If you want to share our journey you will be visionary and creative with a track record of making things happen. Entrepreneurial with a strong customer focus you will lead our commercial activity. You will be self- aware, politically astute with a proven ability to command the respect, trust and confidence of Councillors, staff, partner organisations and the public.
You will have highly developed communication skills, an empowering style, be diplomatic and skilled at providing strategic advice in a highly pressurised environment. Adept at building enduring and successful partnerships with all our stakeholders, communities, businesses and our staff; you will create our joint senior management team and one joint officer team across the two autonomous councils.
