We are currently looking to appoint to a pivotal position within the City of York Council's Management Team; Corporate Director Health, Housing and Adults Social Care.

Corporate Director Health, Housing and Adults Social Care

High performing, proactive and ambitious; we adopt a preventative model, progressive social housing approach, with locality working enabling residents enjoy independent living, whilst protecting those most vulnerable.

We need a Corporate Director who will create opportunities, have one coherent leadership model to accelerate health improvement for our residents and shape our great City.  Ideal opportunity for aspirational Assistant Director’s or existing Directors on their journey towards Chief Executive.

This is not a traditional Director of Adult Social Care role; it has a wider remit. We need a leader who can build partnerships beyond our statutory services, shape our communities through housing, community assets, safety and resilience and integrated health and social care provision.

Assessment dates: 4th October 2018 - with final interviews on the 5th October
