At Kingston, we are passionate about our Royal Borough and our communities that make it a great place to live, work, study or visit.

Our intention is to be a Council that embraces our rich heritage whilst moving forward. This is a new era for the Council, with a new administration, and we are redefining the relationships we have with our residents, community groups, businesses, voluntary sector and central government agencies.

We want to be known as a Council that is an exemplar for citizen engagement with high quality, well designed and sustainable development.

Whoever is appointed to these roles will help to strengthen our profile nationally and internationally whilst ensuring Kingston’s many communities are fully engaged and receive consistently high-quality services.

Building on our rich identity of heritage and culture, we are now looking for candidates that can help shape and deliver an inclusive and prosperous future for our existing and future communities.

A key element to unlocking potential regeneration and strategic housing opportunities will be engaging our diverse communities in resident-led schemes and you will play a critical role in turning that possibility into reality.

We are seeking ambitious candidates that can join us in delivering new housing, in a way that puts communities at the heart of regeneration.

If you are a self-starter, who can bring together key partners including our business sector, landowners, University and our voluntary sector, whilst demonstrating successful resident engagement, then Kingston is the place for you.

To be successful in this post, you will need to have a strong strategic grasp, experience of leading within a complex organisation and a strong ambition to deliver services differently, putting residents at the heart of decision making.
