‘Working Together to make Birmingham the greatest city to grow up in’

Birmingham Children’s Trust began life this month. The Trust will deliver all Family Support and Children’s Social Care services for Birmingham City Council.

The Trust has one job: to make a positive difference for vulnerable children, young people and families in the city, by driving up the quality of practice and partnerships across the city and its services. This new organisation will be independent, innovative and resolutely focused on making this a reality-and quickly.

We are now ready to recruit to our Executive Board with a distinctive but complementary role. You will be at the forefront of delivering a model of outstanding front-line practice in social work.

This is a pivotal role in leading and driving improvement in the Trust. As well as advising the Board, your leadership will ensure we deliver excellent services to vulnerable children, young people and families, where effectiveness, efficiency and quality go hand in hand.

Birmingham Children’s Trust faces big challenges and even bigger opportunities. We give our best, so that children and young people achieve their best. You could be key. Don’t miss the opportunity to find out more.

For more information please click on the ‘Apply’ button below or talk to our advising consultants at GatenbySanderson Jon Houlihan (0121 644 5710) or Phil Emms (0113 205 6078).

 Closing Date:  25th May 2018.
