In joining the management team of our Children’s Services department you will bring with you exceptional knowledge and skill in social work practice and a track record of high quality delivery to enhance our recently inspected ‘Good’ Service which aspires to be outstanding.   These are exciting times for Greenwich with the work of the teaching partnership with Southwark, Lewisham and Goldsmiths, the launch of our new Children and Young People’s Plan and our DfE innovation programme projects, in which you will play a key role.  You will also lead on workforce strategies for effective social work and a commitment to practice approaches that make a real difference to families, build on family strengths and resilience, achieving a shift change that will enable more children to remain safely with their families.
