Director of Resident Safety

This high profile and newly created role will see you assume accountability for the safety of the homes we provide to Council tenants and leaseholders.
Not only will you be a critical friend to other Council services in a quality assurance and compliance capacity, you will be Camden Council’s lead advocate on property safety, working closely with our residents to place them at the centre of our gold standard assurance work.
Your commitment to ensuring that tenant and leaseholder voices are at the forefront of this innovative approach, will see you represent Camden on a London and national stage.
We aspire to become an ambassador for property safety, influencing national policy and, championing high quality governance when procuring property contractors.
Your passion for safety, resident engagement and high quality housing will be underpinned by your understanding of property, building control and compliance and so you may well be a property, capital programmes or health & safety professional.
Whatever your background, your tenacious and resilient approach will ensure that Camden’s tenants and leaseholders know that their safety is paramount.
