Recent appointments have been made to Director level posts, and we are now looking for inspirational, motivated and enthusiastic Chief Officers to lead and motivate their teams through this exciting period and beyond…..

The applicant appointed to this role will have responsibility for economic growth & development, asset and estate management, and building works & facilities. You will lead on the identification and delivery of growth opportunities for the better of the Council and its residents, and the overall management of the Council's property portfolio by creating strong meaningful partnerships with local business, community and other interests and continuously reviewing the optimisation of Council assets to identify opportunities for better utilisation.

The successful candidate will be a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (General Practice) or equivalent qualification and/or experience.

You should also have substantial, relevant and current senior management experience within a similar service, including the management of budgets and staff, and will be an advocate of digital ways of working, championing the change of BB2020 and the digital operating model.
