Redbridge is changing. With a new management team in place, we’re reinventing our borough and changing the way our council works.
The Strategy Directorate sits at the heart of our plans for renewal. Our job is to help set and communicate the council’s overall direction, provide answers to the borough’s most complex problems, and put residents at the heart of everything our organisation does. We’ll bring together customer services, big data and service design together with our core strategy, change and communications expertise.
To do that, we need to create a new kind of corporate strategy team. One that breaks down traditional barriers between different disciplines. You’ll have a line manager, but most of the time you’ll be putting your skills to use in project teams, working alongside your colleagues in strategy and frontline services to help deliver change that sticks.
We’re looking for special people to make our team work. You’ll need great core expertise in communications, change or strategy, but you’ll also need to be flexible and hungry to take on new challenges.
