Assistant Director, Children’s Social Care and Lead Practitioner

This is an exciting time to be joining an improving Children’s Service as we pursue our ambitions for children and families. You will have the scope to make your mark as a practice leader and to work closely with colleagues and partners to transform services in Haringey.
You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of children's social care, setting high standards and modelling the culture and behaviours we expect from our social care workforce. You will create the context for excellent practice, effective supervision and decision making, which deliver good outcomes.
You will be joining a dynamic senior management team, where you will play a key role as a system leader, delivering on our transformation programme to provide children with the best start in life. This will require exceptional partnership working with all stakeholders, including elected members and officers of the Council, to achieve our aspirations for Haringey.
