Director of Integrated Adult Social Care and Health
As one of the most ambitious authorities in the North West, Cheshire West and Chester Council is determined to develop its approach and services to ensure it is ‘fit for purpose’ and ready to face the challenges of tomorrow.
With a new Deputy Chief Executive (People) recently appointed, we are looking to further bolster our top team by bringing in a Director of Integrated Adult Social Care and Health to manage a range of crucial services and lead the integration agenda with NHS providers. Indeed, the postholder will drive forward the creation and development of an Accountable Care Organisation with our health partners, to allow us to deliver adult social care services for residents in a more efficient and joined up way. In addition, we need to manage demand better and improve our approach to prevention, thereby improving lives and making the most of our resources.
We are looking for candidates with a social work qualification, but crucially you will have superb partnership and people skills, experience of managing large and complex budgets, and the drive and ambition to create a brand new organisation which will make a huge difference to the lives of our most vulnerable residents.
