With just 26 persons per square kilometre, Powys is the sparsest county in Wales.
The council is responsible for 5,500km of roads and we look after 5,348 council houses.
Powys has 99 schools, 17 libraries and 5 museums.
The council is the county’s largest employer, with 6,100 staff.
